Mission statement: Vision for Haiti is a non-profit organization with the primary mission to provide health care services to people living in rural areas in Haiti. Vision for Haiti is 501C3 organization and has provided health care services such as vaccination, and public health education.

In January 2010, during the earthquake we spent 4 days in theCapital’s Airport in Port au Prince under the banner of Project Medishare to provide health care for the victims of the tragicearthquake. In March 2010,vision for Haiti received 1000 doses of tetanus vaccine from the University of Massachusetts Medical School. As a result, we vaccinated 500 people in Meyer alone and the remaining 500 were given to Haitian American Association of Nursing (HANA) and they vaccinated people in 5 different rural areas in Haiti. In addition, we provided care to 350 more patients.

In April 2011, Vision for Haiti had it’s first fundraising approximentely 120 attended at Crown Plaza Hotel in Suffern, NY. Moreover, we had our second mission to Haiti where we were able to vaccinate an additional 500 people with tetanus vaccine {provided by UM } and provided primary care and medication to 300 patients provided by Americares. December 2011, we distributed backpacks and notebooks and medical supplies to over 395 kids provided by Dr. and Mrs. Jean Matthew. March 17, 2012 we’ll be hosting our second annual Fundraiser.

Vision for Haiti desires to perform multiple missions in Haiti every year in the upcoming future, as well as aid the youth of Haiti as they
